An insulated and robust prefabricated floor deck is called Therma-Deck.
In 4-1/2″ thick R17 available. R26, 6-1/2″ thick. 8-1/4″ thick R35. Engineered Oriented Strand Board sheets encase the insulating core to form a solid product known as panels. This removes the need for pricey installation labor and foundation work.
Because your Therma-Deck has a completed surface, it is prepared to accept finished flooring like hardwood, carpet, tile, or laminate. Therma-Deck’s inherent strength makes it suitable for use as a roofing material. allowing for different inside ceiling finishes and siding options on the outside.
